How to cook Beef Lasagna tasty

Beef Lasagna - It turned out very good but i think i could have cooked it a little longer.. Today I am sharing this Beef Lasagna! A quick and easy dinner that is ready in under 25 minutes!

Ingredients for Beef Lasagna:

  1. Sheets Lasagna.
  2. 300 grams minced/ground beef.
  3. 250 ml pasta sauce.
  4. 300 ml white bechamel (see my earlier recipe).
  5. 300 grams cheddar cheese.
  6. 100 grams mozzarella cheese.
  7. 1/2 white onion (diced).
  8. 1 green pepper (chopped).
  9. 2 tablespoons olive oil.
  10. to taste herbs of your choice.

Step by step how to cook Beef Lasagna:

  1. In a pan, warm the oil and add the green pepper and onion. Fry until onion is translucent..
  2. Preheat an oven to 180 degrees celcius.
  3. Add the ground/minced beef to the same pan and fry until brown. If it gets too dry, add tablespoons of water at a time until you are satisfied with the meat..
  4. Add the pasta sauce to the meat and stir. The aim is to get the meaty juice into the sauce for all the great flavour..
  5. Now it's time to layer. In a large baking tray, start off with a thin layer of the bechamel..
  6. Then add a layer of pasta sheets.
  7. Then some of the meat.
  8. Then a pasta layer.
  9. Then some bechamel and cheddar cheese.
  10. Then some pasta.
  11. Then more meat and some cheddar cheese.
  12. Another pasta layer.
  13. Then more of the bechamel.
  14. Then the rest of the cheddar cheese and the mozzarella cheese.
  15. Top it off with some herbs and pop it in the oven for 35-45 minutes.
  16. Remove from the oven and let it set a little, because if you try and scoop it out straight from the oven it falls apart..
