  1. 2 1/2 cups oats.
  2. 1 scoop (36 g) protein powder.
  3. 2 tablespoons cocoa powder.
  4. 250 g pitted dates.
  5. 1/4 cup honey.
  6. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  7. 1/4 teaspoon salt.
  8. 1/4 cup milk.
  9. 60 g dark chocolate.
  10. 1/4 cup peanut butter (optional).
  11. Topping.
  12. 90 g dark chocolate.

Step by step how to cook Date Protein Bars:

  1. Line a square baking pan or glass dish with baking paper and set it aside..
  2. Place the oats in a food processor fitted with the steel blade and process until ground into a flour..
  3. Add the protein powder, dates, honey, vanilla, salt, milk, chocolate and peanut butter (optional)..
  4. Note: soak the dates in hot water for more fudge or date caramel taste..
  5. Process until the mixture is well combined..
  6. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan or dish and press firmly into an even layer, smoothing the top as much as possible..
