Ingredients for Easy Yeast Bread:
- 300 g bread flour.
- 200 ml warm water.
- 8 g active yeast.
- 15 g sugar.
- 4 g salt.
- 30 ml cooking oil.
Step by step how to cook Easy Yeast Bread:
- Mix warm water with the yeast. Wait 5 minutes to activate the yeast.
- Sift the flour into a bowl. Mix in the sugar and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture into the dry ingredients. Use a spatula to mix until the flour absorbs all the water.
- Knead the dough for a little while before add in the oil, then knead the oil into the dough until it's fully incorporated.
- Coat your working surface with a bit of flour. Then transfer the dough onto the surface and start kneading. It will take about 10-15p. Add more flour onto the dough if it gets sticky..
- Coat the bowl with a little bit of oil and put in the kneaded dough, cover the bowl with a cling film or a damp sheet of fabric and wait 1 hour for the dough to proof.
- When it has proofed 3 times its original size, remove the cover, punch the dough to break all the air bubble..

- Coat your working surface again. Take the dough onto it. Knead for a while to make sure you break all the air bubble. Then, you can cut and shape you loaf of bread however you fancy. I made them round like burger buns. Put them in your baking tray..
- Preheat the oven at 170°C. Mean while cover the loaves with a damp sheet of fabric (or a cling film with a bowl of hot water inside the tray) and wait 30 minutes.
