Ingredients for Elephant Yam Fry:
- 1 cup Elephant yam.
- 2 cup oil for frying.
- 1 Tomato.
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder.
- 1 tsp Coriander powder.
- 1 tsp Cumin powder.
- 1 tsp Garam masala.
- To taste Salt.
- For coating.
- As needed Idli Chilli powder.
Step by step how to cook Elephant Yam Fry:
- In a vessel add the chopped Elephant yam, tomato and masalas given above except idli chilli powder.
- Add little water and half cook the elephant yam.
- In a platter spread the idli chilli powder. Coat the masala mixed elephant yam one by one on idli chilli powder.
- Now deep fry the coated Elephant yam.
- Crispy elephant yam fry ready.
