Ingredients for Jam Tarts:
- 500 g Butter.
- 1 and half cup of Sugar.
- 3 Eggs.
- 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Essence.
- 7 Cups Flour.
- 3 Teaspoons baking powder.
- 200 g Apricot Jam.
- 400 g Cinnamon.
- 100 g Coconut.
Step by step how to cook Jam Tarts:
- Mix Butter and Sugar until the sugar dissolves. Add flour and baking powder and mix until a dough is formed..
- Take a quarter of the mixed dough and put into a bowl. Add coconut then mix..
- Put the quarter dough into fridge. Take the rest of the dough and put into battered oven pan and press it all over the pan..
- Take jam and spread it it on top of dough which has been pressed onto a pan. Sprinkle cinnamon..
- Remove the dough which was placed in the fridge..
- Using a grater, grate the dough from the fridge onto dough that is placed onto the pan.
- Preheat oven to 180 deg. Place dough into oven and bake for 20-30 minutes.
- Allow to cool off and cut into squares..
