Ingredients for Kale Spinach Peas Pulav:
- 1 blanched kale leaves.
- 1 bunches spinach leaves.
- 2 cups cooked steam rice,.
- 1 cup green peas (fresh/ frozen).
- 1 green chilli finely chopped.
- 1 small onion chopped.
- 1 tbsp Olive oil/ghee.
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds.
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds.
- 1/2 tsp Coriander powder.
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder.
- as per taste salt as per taste.
- 1 tsp lemon juice.
- as required Coriander leaves and cherry tomatoes for garnish.
Step by step how to cook Kale Spinach Peas Pulav:
- Firstly properly washed the kale and spinach leaves in water. Than blanch the kale and Spinach leaves and green chillies. Grind into a fine paste..
- Heat oil / ghee in the pan Add bay leaf and cumin seeds, cinnamon stick,clove,green cardamom & saute..
- Add chopped onion, chopped green chilli, chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala. Saute on low flame..
- Add green peas. Cook then add kale spinach paste and salt. Stir cook for 3 to 5 minutes till oil separates..
- Now add cooked rice and sauté it add lemon juice mix properly then Cover and cook for 2 minutes on lowest flame. Green spinach peas Pulav is ready.garnish with coriander leaves and cherry tomatoes optional..
