Ingredients for Mati Aloo Yam Fry:
- 300 gm khamalu chopped in 1 1/2 inch pieces.
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder.
- To taste salt.
- 1 tbsp rice flour.
- 1/2 tsp chaat masala.
- 1 tsp roasted cumin powder.
- As needed Oil for fry.
Step by step how to cook Mati Aloo Yam Fry:
- Remove the skin of Khamalu, cut into size as like, wash properly and dry with a kitchen towel to remove the stickiness..
- Rub all the masala except roasted cumin powder, rice flour and cooking oil..
- Marinade for 15 minutes. Then roll each piece on rice flour..
- Heat oil in a pan. Fry the coated Khumalu pieces on both the sides, (low-medium flame) covering the pan..
- When both the sides are cooked, dust them with roasted cumin powder. Serve the hot, tangy Khumalu with tea /as a side item in lunch. Thanks.
