How to cook Suji Halwa/seera simple

Suji Halwa/seera - It turned out very good but i think i could have cooked it a little longer.. Today I am sharing this Suji Halwa/seera! A quick and easy dinner that is ready in under 15 minutes!

Ingredients for Suji Halwa/seera:

  1. 1 cup suji/rawa (preferred medium size rawa).
  2. Half cup ghee(if needed we will add more).
  3. 1 cup sugar(should be same quantity of suji, you take less also).
  4. 3 cup water (it should always be triple of suji).
  5. 1 cardamom crushed.
  6. Crushed Dry fruits(I used almond) you can add cashew, raisins.

Step by step how to cook Suji Halwa/seera:

  1. First take thick bottom pan/kadai. Add ghee in that, once ghee is hot add suji & cook for some time till it turns to brownish colour. (Refer pic for ghee consistency) if you like halwa in white colour then roast little less. We like in this way..
  2. Add cardamom & dry fruits and now slowly add water and keep stirring so that it should not get lump..
  3. Now add sugar, keep stirring till halwa leave the sides of the pan..
  4. Serve hot suji halwa garnished with dry fruits...
  5. I tried cat emoji and tower cake. Tower cake is my kid's favourite. Enjoy!!!!! (Dont add food colour, luckily i gave try only for one spoon of halwa and it changed the taste of halwa).
