- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour (fluffed up).
- 1/4 cup cocoa.
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil.
- 3/4 cup white sugar.
- 1/4 cup brown sugar.
- 100 gm melted chocolate (dark or milk).
- 2 eggs.
- 1 teaspoon vanilla.
- 1/2 teaspoon salt.
- 1 tablespoon coffee (coffee and water mix).
- 2 tablespoon milk.
- 1/2 cup roasted almonds.
Step by step how to cook Almond Brownies (whole wheat):
- Preheat oven (or kadai) to 180° Celsius. Line a 9x9 pan with parchment paper or coat with butter and flour..
- Melt chocolate in the microwave or over a double boiler..
- Add oil, milk, coffee to the melted chocolate and set aside. Let it cool.
- In a separate bowl beat eggs, white and brown sugar together until they're light and fluffy. Add vanilla and mix..
- Add the melted chocolate mixture to eggs & sugar and fold. Do not beat out the air.
- Sift flour and cocoa powder in the wet ingredients. Fold slowly and don't overmix..
