Ingredients for Fried yam and sauce:
- For the fried yam.
- 1 tuber of yam or less (depending on the size of the people.
- Oil for frying.
- Salt.
- water.
- For the sauce.
- 5-6 medium size Tomatoes.
- 3 red bell peppers.
- 4 scotch bonnet.
- 1 medium size onion finely sliced.
- Veg oil.
- Salt and seasonings of your taste.

- Add onions, clove and garlic to the oil and saute.
- Add crushed scotch bonnet,red bell peppers and tomatoes and stir.
- Add seasonings and salt to taste.
- Continue to cook till oil floats on top of the sauce.
