Ingredients for Ghanian Yam balls:
- 1 tuber yam.
- Scotch bonnet (chopped).
- Salt.
- Spring onion.
- Fresh Pasley.
- Garlic.
- Seasoning.
- Egg (beaten).
- Bread crumbs /golden morn.
- Sardine.
- Butter.
- Vegetable oil for praying.
- Curry powder.
Step by step how to cook Ghanian Yam balls:
- Peel the yam cut into small chunks add to pot add enough water to cover eat add salt to taste and brig to boil till soft.
- Check the yam of once it is done mash till smooth add pasley and all dry ingredients follow the sardine and mix together till combined well.
- Add egg and mix to combine add chopped Scotch bonnet spring onion mix again, mould the mashed yam to small balls.
- Dip into the whisk egg then bread crumb place on a clean plate, repeat this process till you finish.
- Place pan on high heat, add oil heat till hot, drop the yam balls into the hot oil carefully fry till golden brown..
