Ingredients for Idli Dhokla:

  1. 2 cup besan.
  2. 1/2 cup curd.
  3. 1 ts adrak mirch paste.
  4. 1 ts salt.
  5. 1 pinch haldi.
  6. 1 packet eno.
  7. 1 ts lemon juice.
  8. water as required.
  9. 1 ts oil.
  10. For tadka-.
  11. 1 ts oil.
  12. 1 ts mustard seeds.
  13. 3-4 hari mirch half slit.
  14. 1 lemon juice.
  15. 2 ts sugar.
  16. 1 glass water.
  17. 8-10 curry leaves.
  18. For garnishing-.
  19. some chopped coriander.
  20. 1 tbs grated coconut.

Step by step how to cook Idli Dhokla:

  1. First mix besan, curd, salt, haldi, adrak hari mirch paste in a bowl.Add water mix well. make a smooth paste..
  2. Then greese an idli stand.Heat idli cooker.Add water in it..
  3. Now add eno and lemon juice on it in batter. mix well..
  4. Put dhokla mix in idli mould.and put it in idli cooker..
  5. Now make tadka.In a tadka pan add oil, rai, hari mirch, curry leaves, add water.add sugar and lenon juice boil it..
  6. Now check dhokla, if cooked, take out and cool it..
  7. Put in a plate. add tadka on it.garnish with coriander and coconut. serve with chutney..
