Ingredients for Mango Nut Protein Bars:

  1. 1/2 cup dried mango.
  2. 3 cups mix nuts.
  3. 2 scoops protein powder (60g).
  4. 1/3 cup honey.
  5. 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
  6. 1 teaspoon vanilla essence.
  7. Pinch salt (if nuts are unsalted).
  8. 50 ml hot water (not boiling).

  2. Add nuts and protein powder, grind finely..
  3. Add honey, cinnamon, vanilla and salt. Blend together..
  4. Add water and mix to form loose dough..
  5. If too thick add a bit more water..
  6. Alternatively if you don’t have a food processor, cut the mango and nuts finely with a knife. Add other ingredients and mix in a mixing bowl till blended..
  7. Press down in a glass container or container lined with baking paper. Use the back of a wet tablespoon..
  8. Cover and refrigerate over night..
  9. Cut in bars. Choose your size!.
