Ingredients for Bread Upma:
- 6-7 bread slices.
- 2 tomatoes.
- 2 onions chopped.
- 1 green chilli finely chopped.
- 1 inch ginger finely chopped.
- 2-3 tsp coriander leaves finely chopped.
- 6-7 curry leaves.
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds.
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds.
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder.
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder.
- 1/2 tsp sugar.
- 1 tsp lemon juice.
- Salt (to taste).
- 3-4 spoon Oil.
Step by step how to cook Bread Upma:
- Take bread slices,cut it roughly.Chop the tomatoes..
- Heat oil in a wok.Add mustard seeds,cumin and curry leaves.When seeds starts crackle,add ginger, green chilli and onions.stir.Soute it till onions become translucent..
- Add tomatoes, salt,turmeric powder and chilli powder.stir.Soute it until tomato becomes soft.cook on medium heat..
- Add bread pieces and coriander leaves.Mix all the things altogether.Cook for 1-2 minutes.Add sugar and lemon juice.Mix it.Turn of the flame..
- Transfer it in serving dish.Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve immediately.Enjoy with tea..
