Ingredients for Butter Dumpling:

  1. 1 kg cake flour.
  2. 5 g dry yeast.
  3. 100 g butter/margarine.
  4. Pinch salt.
  5. 4 spoons sugar.
  6. 600 ml warm water.

Step by step how to cook Butter Dumpling:

  1. In any empty container mix dry ingredients (cake flour, dry yeast, salt and sugar) with butter or margarine.
  2. Add water and continue mixing, this improves activating the yeast, avoid forming a runny paste aim for a slightly dry and also to rise for 30 minutes, cover with cling wrap or samp cloth.
  3. Bring a pot of water to boil(optional add salt) and add dumpling to a plastic and place on boiling water leaves for an hour or until water runs out! You can replace plastic with a greased pan or anything of your choice.
  4. Use a knife or kebab stick to check if it's cooked through, as you pinch and you kebab/knife comes out dry it means it's cooked through, now ready to serve.
