Ingredients for Chicken Masala:
- 1 chicken breast.
- 1 tbsp yoghurt.
- 2 tbsp kashmiri red powder.
- 1 onion.
- 1 tomato.
- 2 tbsp tomato puree.
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste.
- 1 tsp garam masala powder.
- 1 tsp red chilli powder.
- 1/2 tsp Jeera(cumin) powder.
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder.
- 1 tsp turmeric powder.
- to taste Salt.
- As needed Oil.
Step by step how to cook Chicken Masala:
- Cut the chicken in pieces and marinate with yoghurt, Kashmiri red chilli powder and salt for 2-3 hrs..
- Take little oil in pan and fry the pieces till cooked and golden brown..
- In the same pan add oil and chopped onions, tomato and tomato puree with all the spices. Cook till the oil leaves the gravy..
- Add in the chicken pieces and let it cook for couple of minutes..
- Garnish with coriander leaves and cream (optional)..
