Ingredients for Chicken Tikka pasta dum biryani:

  1. 2 cups pasta.
  2. 1 teaspoon oil.
  3. 1 pinch salt.
  4. 6 cups water.
  5. 1 bay leaf.
  6. 4 green cardamom pods.
  7. 4 black pepper.
  8. 4 cloves.
  9. 1/2 inch cinmmon stick.

  11. 250 g bonless chicken.
  12. 1 tablespoon thick yogurt.
  13. 1 tablespoon kashmiri chilli powder.
  14. 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste.
  15. 1 teaspoon lemon juice.
  16. 1 tablespoon corn flour.
  17. 1 pinch salt.
  18. 1/4 cup Oil for shallow frying.
  19. For gravy.
  20. 2 tablespoon oil.
  21. 1 cup chopped onion.
  22. 1 cup chopped tomato.
  23. 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste.
  24. 3 tablespoon yogurt.
  25. 1 teaspoon chilli powder.
  26. 1 teaspoon biryani masala powder.
  27. 1/4 teaspoon turmirc powder.
  28. 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder.
  29. For garnishing :.
  30. 1/4 cup fried onion.
  31. 3 tablespoon chopped coriander and mint.
  32. 6-8 fried cashews.

Step by step how to cook Chicken Tikka pasta dum biryani:

  1. Put water, salt, oil, all whole spices (bay leaf, green cardamom pods, black pepper and cinnamon stick) in a pot and roast on a medium heat for 3 minutes. Put the pasta in a pot of salted boiling water and cook until al dente. Remove the pot from the heat and strain the pasta, keeping the water aside..
  2. In a large bowl, mix yoghurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, cornflour and salt and mix well. Add the chicken and mix well. Set aside for 20 minutes..

  6. In a pot, spread one layer of cooked pasta and then add a layer of chicken Tikka gravy, fried onion, mint leaves, coriander leaves and cashews, alternating layers..
  7. Over a medium heat, put a Tava and on that tava put the above pot and cover it properly keep it for 15 minutes..
  8. Pasta biryani is now ready serve it hot..
