Ingredients for Farmhouse White Bread:

  1. 1000 gr stone ground white bread flower.
  2. 25 gr Olive oil / butter.
  3. 40 gr brown sugar.
  4. 1 sachet yeast (10 gr).
  5. 20 gr salt.
  6. 600 gr luke warm water.

Step by step how to cook Farmhouse White Bread:

  1. Add all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add watet gradually while mixing.
  3. Add oil once mixture is incorporated.
  4. Knead for about 8-10 minutes until rubbery texture.
  5. Cover bowl with cling wrap and a blanket and put in a warm place to rise double its size (about 30 minutes).
  6. Knead down (about 3 minutes) and put the dough in a well oiled bread pan.
  7. Let it rise again (to the top of the pan).
  8. Preheat the oven to 200 C (446 F).
  9. When risen, bake for 30 minutes or until light brown crust and a baking pin is clean.
  10. I have also baked this succesfuly at 180 C (350 F) for 30 minutes.
