Ingredients for Steam Sooji Roll:
- For Dough.
- 1 cup Semolina (150 gms).
- 1/2 Cup Curd.
- 1/2 tsp Salt.
- 1/8 Baking Soda.
- Stuffing.
- 1/2 cup chopped capsicum.
- 1/2 cup grated cottage cheese.
- 1 /4 cup carrot.
- 1/2 tsp Ginger paste.
- 1-2 chooped green chilli.
- 1/4 tsp black pepper.
- 1/4 tsp Salt.
- 1-2 tbsp green coriander.
- Pasta Sauce.
- For tadka.
- 2 Tsp Oil.
- 1/4 tsp black mustard.
- 1/2 tsp White Sesame.
- 10-12 Curry patta.
Step by step how to cook Steam Sooji Roll:
- To Prepare the dough mix Sooji Curd, Baking Soda and Salt. Cover the dough & keep it aside for 10 mins.
- For Stuffing mix all the vegetables Salt & pepper.
- Divide the dough in two parts & grease the surface & rolling pin and then roll out the dough one by one in oval shape.
- Apply a layer of pasta Sauce then put the vegetable mix on top of the sauce..then roll it properly.
- Grease the Steam container with oil...Boil water and then steam the sooji roll for 15 mins on low flame..
- Once the Sooji Roll is steamed. Cool the roll and then cut it into pieces.
- Prepare the tadka with all the ingredients mentioned and spread it over the sooji roll pieces. Serve with Chutney and Ketchup.
