Ingredients for Steam Sooji Roll:

  1. For Dough.
  2. 1 cup Semolina (150 gms).
  3. 1/2 Cup Curd.
  4. 1/2 tsp Salt.
  5. 1/8 Baking Soda.
  6. Stuffing.
  7. 1/2 cup chopped capsicum.
  8. 1/2 cup grated cottage cheese.
  9. 1 /4 cup carrot.
  10. 1/2 tsp Ginger paste.
  11. 1-2 chooped green chilli.
  12. 1/4 tsp black pepper.
  13. 1/4 tsp Salt.
  14. 1-2 tbsp green coriander.
  15. Pasta Sauce.
  16. For tadka.
  17. 2 Tsp Oil.
  18. 1/4 tsp black mustard.
  19. 1/2 tsp White Sesame.
  20. 10-12 Curry patta.

Step by step how to cook Steam Sooji Roll:

  1. To Prepare the dough mix Sooji Curd, Baking Soda and Salt. Cover the dough & keep it aside for 10 mins.
  2. For Stuffing mix all the vegetables Salt & pepper.
  3. Divide the dough in two parts & grease the surface & rolling pin and then roll out the dough one by one in oval shape.
  4. Apply a layer of pasta Sauce then put the vegetable mix on top of the sauce..then roll it properly.
  5. Grease the Steam container with oil...Boil water and then steam the sooji roll for 15 mins on low flame..
  6. Once the Sooji Roll is steamed. Cool the roll and then cut it into pieces.
  7. Prepare the tadka with all the ingredients mentioned and spread it over the sooji roll pieces. Serve with Chutney and Ketchup.
